IBM SOA book debuts with industry analyst endorsements

IBM press today announced the release of "The New Language of Business: SOA and Web 2.0" by Sandy Carter. The book has been endorsed by industry analysts including Neil Ward-Dutton, Research Director at Macehiter Ward-Dutton, Jason Bloomberg, Senior Analyst and Principal at ZapThink, Hurwitz and Associates president and CEO Judith Hurwitz, and AberdeenGroup senior analyst Carol Baroudi.

It is noteworthy that three of these analysts have penned their own peer-acclaimed books on SOA, and the fourth is engaged in a book project on IT-business alignment as of this posting. Find more information online about these four books and authors:

Positive reviews abound: IBMer John Simmonds recently wrote an informal review of the Hurwitz' book at his Delusions of Adequacy blog in the post, "SOA for Dummies by Judith Hurwitz, Robin Bloor, Carol Baroudi (now with AberdeenGroup), and Marcia Kaufman".

Editor's note, February 28, 2007: I corrected this story to reflect Carol Baroudi's move to AberdeenGroup. -- BF
